Our Story
What We’re All About
Where Great Minds Are Born
Sunrise Education Center adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children ages 6 weeks- 5 years-old to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Daycare, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Our State Funded Programs
Great Start Readiness Program
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children with factors which may place them at risk of educational failure. The program is administered by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start. Funding is allocated to each intermediate school district to administer the program locally.
Research on preschool programs and specific research on GSRP indicates that children provided with a high-quality preschool experience show significant positive developmental differences when compared to children from the same backgrounds who did not attend a high-quality preschool program.

Our Philosophy
Quality Child Care
We strive to ensure that your child’s future is filled with exploration, excitement, and
adventure on their educational journey. Early learning depends upon experiences that
have a lasting impact on future educational success. We believe that play is a foundation of
this learning. While engaging in play, children make choices, talk to one another, negotiate,
and use imaginative creative expressions. It is these experiences, which enable children to
practice appropriate social and emotional skills. Independence, competence, and increased
self-esteem grow in the process. We acknowledge that it is essential for children to feel safe
so they are able to make these choices. A nurturing, consistent environment enables the
physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of each child to be met.
